Wrt110 validating identity error

Select your encryption type from the "Network Authentication" and "Data Encryption" drop downs.

Uncheck "The key is provided for me automatically" and enter and confirm your Network key.

I suspect a firmware upgrade probably fixes that behaviour. If you want to accept both computer credentials and user credentials you'll need to name both "Domain Comptuers" and "Domain Users" in your policy.

By default, XP will re-authenticate with the user credential after the user logs-on (there is no way to do computer-only with XP, I believe).

In the next window click on the "Authentication" tab, Make sure "Enable IEEE 802.1x...." checkbox is UN-Checked, the rest of this window should be greyed out.

If your network is Encrypted go on to step 6 otherwise Click ok and try to connect to your network again.

I added the AP as a client with and have tried using both RADIUS Standard and Cisco as the RADIUS type.In this window make sure you are in the "Association" tab.You will need to enter your encryption information here in order to connect to your network. We bought a Linksys router (WRT54G2) Now, the daughter can connect to the net, no prob, but my son with the new ipod cannot. My network is listed on the ipod, but it will not let him connect to the network here. Is this what I am looking for - what is known as the "key"? Anyone with Ipod touch WIFi linksys issues needs to read your solution. Even more disappointed that Linksys wanted to charge me .00 to supposedly fix my problem after speaking with one person who said I would need to be connected to some special dept who handles the IPOD problems!! I don't know if this will work for you, but it worked for me: Changed the Wifi channel on the router to a lower one Once I did this it started working immediately, and the Wifi signal strength was even much better than before. I see 10 jumbled numbers and capital letters that mean absolutely nothing to me. After 4 days of frustration of trying to figure out why my password is not working and no solution on apple site ,your solution worked perfectly. I was very disappointed in the fact that Linksys pawned it off on Apple and vice versa! Had to inform them of how ridiculous it is to pay for TECH SUPPORT!!!! I tried resetting the phone under settings, and tried turning the Wifi off for a while and then back on, but to no avail.
