Updating drivers for usb connections

16 Feb

USB 1.0 defines two different data rates, low speed USB (up to 1.5 Mbps) and full speed USB (up to 12 Mbps).USB 2.0 defines a new data rate, high-speed USB (480 Mbps), while maintaining support for low and full speed devices.Still no success after reinstallation of the m BED_Serial_16466 driver. It could also be Microsoft's WHQL (driver signing..) is not letting you install the driver..

Once you've downloaded your USB driver, follow the instructions below to install or upgrade the driver, based on your version of Windows and whether you're installing for the first time or upgrading an existing driver.

USB 3.0 continues to work with all of the previously defined data rates.

If you look at product packaging, Super Speed USB references the newest USB 3.0 devices.

This wasn't an issue with Terra Term, but it was an issue with some other terminals.

I agree that the windows port doesn't seem to be correctly configured. I will remove the non-working driver, and try to install after a minimal win7 boot (in case there is a conflict with other drivers on the system).
